Tags and Microchips
You are now ready to tag or microchip your Livestock to ensure you can track and identify them.
What can you do with your tracking devises?
GMS tracking is for live tracking of all Livestock.
- Monitor where they are and where they have been.
- You can apply the tags to any animal that you would like to track.
- You can also apply a tag to one animal and track the group of animals it walks with.
Ear Tags:
The tag is pierced into the Animals ear. You can use the tag to identify the animal’s information by scanning the tag with a reader.
The Tags are synced to our Livestock Data Management portal where you can access all the data about your animal.
BLE Tag:
The BLE Tag is attached to the animal’s ear tag.
Track Your Animals’ movement and location with the BLE Beacon that communicates to the FTSM gateway.

Gateway:
The FTSM gateway is installed in an area and monitoring the movement of the Animals connect. You can install more than one gateway to monitor a bigger area.
The Base Station will then pick up the tag if the animal enters the range area and will log the location and send it to the FTSM web portal.

Microchip Tag
Specifications
The 134.2 KHz Glass Microchip has been developed for subcutaneous injection and it is used for identifying animals.
All of the microchips are fit ISO11784/11785 standards and they have been sterilized with the medical standards.
Each microchip has a perylene coating inside which can prevent the microchip moved into the animal’s body.
